Levi's Track Meet

Today was Levi's first middle school track meet. He really enjoyed it and is happy to be in track. As a parent it was very exciting to watch him participate in his events, but wow there is a lot of empty time in between events. He did the High Jump, Hurdles, 50 meter dash and the 4 x 200 Relay. The relay and high jump i think were his best events. He is the only 7th grader doing the high jump which is really neat! It was so cute to watch him and his friends walking around like they think they are the "Stuff"!

50 meter dash. He tied for 5th place.
High jumps. His highest was 4.4 feet.

Scary pictures (not)

These pictures are too funny! Danielle is doing her best mummy impression. She decided to do this face on her own, it was hilarious. Levi was just posing with the other mummy, but they kind of have the same shaped head lol. These mummy's are at the freak store on the pier in Seattle ( i can't remember the name of the store).

Easter Trip

Cute kids!

Slimy things to touch.

Pretty fish.

For Easter we decided to go to the Zoo in Seattle. We surprised the kids Easter morning and headed out. I had checked the weather the day before and it said that it was suppose to be overcast and showers in the evening. Well never believe weather.com. The passes looked a little worrisome, but that was just the passes, so we figured it wouldn't be too bad in Seattle. Boy were we surprised. It wasn't even a steady rain, it was a downpour! Well we rearranged our plans and went downtown to the aquarium. It was a nice time together.
Just a little side note, we now have to pay 3 adult prices now to get into everything and in a year and a half we get to pay 4 adult prices to get into stuff. Wow hard to believe that the kids qualify to have to pay adult fees to get into fun stuff. A little silly that for most everything else in the world you have to be 18 or 21 to be classified as an adult, but by golly that amusement park gets to charge a 13 year old as an adult :)
Well we ended up at Red Robin for dinner and hit a couple of the shops down on the pier. Running in between shops to not get drenched. But overall a very nice family time together. Enjoy a couple of pictures from the aquarium.
Okay I am still learning how to do this and somehow got the pictures stuck at the beginning of the post, plus forgot to turn some of the pictures before i loaded them, so you get to look at them sideways. Hopefully i'll get this figured out soon.

New Blog

Hey there everyone. After quite awhile reading my Sister in law's (thanks for the inspiration Raegan) blog I decided this would be a good way to keep in contact with people. It might take me a while to get everything set up and going so have a little patience and I will get some pictures and blogs going. I am excited, this will be a fun way for family and friends to keep up with what the kids are up to (i guess what Sean and I are up to also :) Well i will be back soon with more fun stuff.
