Happy Thanksgiving... a little late

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday! We had a nice time and had one more family member to be thankful for! Mason Ryley was born on November 21st to Mike and Kim! What a blessing to all. We went to Sean's parents are usual Thanksgiving ritual. As usual Sean had to work the night before at midnight and Thanksgiving at midnight, so it makes for a short day for us. I did have to get home and prepare for black friday shopping. Scan the adds and we had to decide where we wanted to hit first. We decided to head to Old Navy first and they opened at 3am, so we headed out at 2:30. When I say we I mean my friend Patsy and me, it is our yearly fun time. Since I had to stay up to get Sean off to work I decided that it wouldn't even be worth it to go bed. I am not as young as I use to be. It took me all the rest of friday and saturday to recover from that adventure, but it was all so worth it!!! We have so much fun and get to spend some wonderful Mom time together! Then kids enjoyed thier 4 days off! We spent alot of time together watching Christmas movies and they love teasing Mom because she cries during all of them. Now its time to get the Christmas stuff up!

Just the news...

Well we are pretty much settled in the new place. Have the usual few boxes left in the bedroom to figure out what to do with, but other then that all good. Feels like home! Didn't get settled in, in time to decorate for Halloween, but excited to get the Christmas stuff up. Not really sure where it will all fit, we have a ton of stuff. Went to see Mom and Dad's new place, it is a really cute older home, feels like home for them.
Its that time of the year again kids sports. Danielle is bowling and doing decent this year. I would post pictures but it is really hard to get good ones at bowling. Especially since you can only take pictures from behind. Levi is getting ready to start basketball. He has been having school ball and AAU practice. His first AAU tourney is next weekend and first school game in 2 weeks. Oh the fun begins :)
Sean and I are bowling also. I have been doing an okay job this year. Except for one bad week I have been uping my average. Sean is good as always. I did pull a good one and ended up on the ground this last week. I slid over the fowl line and hit the oil and then hit the ground. Not as sore as I thought, but not as young as I use to be.
Getting ready for my surgery (ok no freaking out). I am scheduled for a Hysterectomy on December 7th. After much discussing and praying I have decided that it is the best idea for me to feel better. I have lived with a lot of problems over the years and will be relieved to have an end in sight. I am excited and nervous, but a little excited for 6 weeks off :) Plus I get all the good holidays off haha.
Well that is about it for now, but I am going to work harder on keeping the blog caught up.

Company in the yard

So I was taking a nap a couple Sunday's ago and Sean came running in saying to look out the window. Well they had already moved a bit and I couldn't see them from the door, but I grabbed the camera and headed out the door and these two were right there. They found the neighbors bushes very tasty. They didn't seem scared at all. I can't believe they were in town this early. I guess all those big bad hunters scared them to town.

Cute pumpkins...

Aren't these the cutest pumpkin carvers you have ever seen! :) We had a blast carving the pumpkins this year. We had a pumpkin slime war and there was pumpkin guts all over. Plus the best part, eating the pumpkin seeds after you are all done. The kids had so much fun coming up with the faces and cuting them out! Happy Fall!!

Pumpkin slimed!

Oh Dad you got it in my mouth!!

Get it on Mom and you will have a rough rest of your week :)

Singing and Trumpting

The kids had thier first concert on Oct 15. Danielle is in the choir and Levi is in band playing the trumpet. It was very fun, but I think that Danielle was scared to pieces. Look at her face in the first picture and she didn't even move during the concert. She was stiff as a board. Danielle was in another concert the next week, but I couldn't get any pictures cause it was too dark in the building and she was facing away from us.
