Getting up to see what Santa brought.
This was actually the number 1 movie on her Christmas list! She was very excited.

Looks like those are his favorite Christmas present too :)

Christmas

Despite some negatives things happening, our Christmas was really good. Thankfully I have been off, because our car has broke down twice in the last 2 weeks. Even as much as it has all sucked, we had a great time together. It has been so nice to be here with the kids while they are off from their school break. We actually got time to make all kinds of Christmas goodies. Christmas Eve was really nice, but we did miss the Craddocks loads! It is so nice to get to spend the evening with our family. We started Christmas day opening presents and spending time with the kids then headed over to my parents. Christmas dinner was nice at my parents, but again we had missing people. We were very sad that Sean's Mom wasn't feeling good, so they didn't get to join us. Kim and Mike did come with the boys. I got out the old picture albums and shared them with Sean and Kim. Its always so much fun to look them over and get a good laugh out of our old clothes and hairdo's :) Can't believe that 2010 is already here! I remember the days that getting to even the year 2000 seemed like a big deal. Of course I also remember thinking how old 33 was, but boy I don't think that anymore. I am so glad that it snowed today, it makes New Years feel fresh and clean, like a new year should be.

Addition to the Family....

Well its taken me a while but here are some pictures of the new addition to the Fabian family. Welcome to the family Mason Ryley Baker, born on Nov 21 8lb 5oz and 22in long. This beautiful miracle belongs to Sean's sister Kim. And he truly is a miracle! Kim and Mike have been married for 18 years and unable to get pregnant. 4 years ago they got Brayden and 3 years ago they got Bryce, both boys were finally adopted a couple years ago. They are a wonderful addition to the family and Kim really didn't think about having anymore kids, they already considered Brayden and Bryce wonderful miracles given to them. Then last spring a new miracle was given to them and Kim got pregnant with this beautiful baby boy! God is wonderful and when we forget how wonderful he is we just need to look at a baby and we will be reminded. Enjoy the pictures.

1 day old at the hospital.
3 days old, his first visit with Aunt Tabitha, Uncle Sean, Levi and Danielle
2 weeks old, visiting Auntie after her surgery.
This one is out of order, he is 6 days old in this picture.

Decorating the Tree

Well we haven't got all of our Christmas decorations up, but we did get the tree up before I had surgery. We have a tradition of eating pizza and watching The Grinch that Stole Christmas (the Jim Carrey edition) while we decorate the tree. We also like to take pictures of each other while we decorate the tree, some of them follow.

Yes Mom I am putting it on the way you want.

Sorry I didn't realize that this one was sideways :)

The finished product!

Happy Thanksgiving... a little late

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday! We had a nice time and had one more family member to be thankful for! Mason Ryley was born on November 21st to Mike and Kim! What a blessing to all. We went to Sean's parents are usual Thanksgiving ritual. As usual Sean had to work the night before at midnight and Thanksgiving at midnight, so it makes for a short day for us. I did have to get home and prepare for black friday shopping. Scan the adds and we had to decide where we wanted to hit first. We decided to head to Old Navy first and they opened at 3am, so we headed out at 2:30. When I say we I mean my friend Patsy and me, it is our yearly fun time. Since I had to stay up to get Sean off to work I decided that it wouldn't even be worth it to go bed. I am not as young as I use to be. It took me all the rest of friday and saturday to recover from that adventure, but it was all so worth it!!! We have so much fun and get to spend some wonderful Mom time together! Then kids enjoyed thier 4 days off! We spent alot of time together watching Christmas movies and they love teasing Mom because she cries during all of them. Now its time to get the Christmas stuff up!

Just the news...

Well we are pretty much settled in the new place. Have the usual few boxes left in the bedroom to figure out what to do with, but other then that all good. Feels like home! Didn't get settled in, in time to decorate for Halloween, but excited to get the Christmas stuff up. Not really sure where it will all fit, we have a ton of stuff. Went to see Mom and Dad's new place, it is a really cute older home, feels like home for them.
Its that time of the year again kids sports. Danielle is bowling and doing decent this year. I would post pictures but it is really hard to get good ones at bowling. Especially since you can only take pictures from behind. Levi is getting ready to start basketball. He has been having school ball and AAU practice. His first AAU tourney is next weekend and first school game in 2 weeks. Oh the fun begins :)
Sean and I are bowling also. I have been doing an okay job this year. Except for one bad week I have been uping my average. Sean is good as always. I did pull a good one and ended up on the ground this last week. I slid over the fowl line and hit the oil and then hit the ground. Not as sore as I thought, but not as young as I use to be.
Getting ready for my surgery (ok no freaking out). I am scheduled for a Hysterectomy on December 7th. After much discussing and praying I have decided that it is the best idea for me to feel better. I have lived with a lot of problems over the years and will be relieved to have an end in sight. I am excited and nervous, but a little excited for 6 weeks off :) Plus I get all the good holidays off haha.
Well that is about it for now, but I am going to work harder on keeping the blog caught up.

Company in the yard

So I was taking a nap a couple Sunday's ago and Sean came running in saying to look out the window. Well they had already moved a bit and I couldn't see them from the door, but I grabbed the camera and headed out the door and these two were right there. They found the neighbors bushes very tasty. They didn't seem scared at all. I can't believe they were in town this early. I guess all those big bad hunters scared them to town.

Cute pumpkins...

Aren't these the cutest pumpkin carvers you have ever seen! :) We had a blast carving the pumpkins this year. We had a pumpkin slime war and there was pumpkin guts all over. Plus the best part, eating the pumpkin seeds after you are all done. The kids had so much fun coming up with the faces and cuting them out! Happy Fall!!

Pumpkin slimed!

Oh Dad you got it in my mouth!!

Get it on Mom and you will have a rough rest of your week :)

Singing and Trumpting

The kids had thier first concert on Oct 15. Danielle is in the choir and Levi is in band playing the trumpet. It was very fun, but I think that Danielle was scared to pieces. Look at her face in the first picture and she didn't even move during the concert. She was stiff as a board. Danielle was in another concert the next week, but I couldn't get any pictures cause it was too dark in the building and she was facing away from us.

Dad's Birthday

The surprise moment! The little stinker stopped out side the gate and visited with Leonard cause he was making the hamburgers. Leonard finally pushed him through and he walked into a yard full of people.

Hugs all around!

A dear friend of Mom's made the birthday cake with her Mom and it was AWESOME!! It looked and tasted so good!

Cute Cousins!

Come on we know you have enough hot air to blow it out. Truthfully the wind was blowing so hard we couldn't keep it lit.

Moving....

Holy cow I can't believe that it has almost been a month since I have written anything. We had a pretty busy September, what I am saying life is always busy :) We did have a surprise birthday party for my Dad's 60th birthday party at the end of September and my Brother and Isabelle also surprised him by showing up. It was so nice to have them visit! We did miss having Raegan come with them, that work thing really sucks! Dad said that he was really surprised, even as many times as I tried to blow it. :) Thank you to everyone that came and made it special for him! Now we are getting ready to move. We are suppose to get our apartment on the 8th and then we can start getting things moved over there. Should give me enough time to clean this place, although the only thing around here to clean up is the cob webs. It is amazing how fast those things can pop up. I think we are excited to move, even though it is a smaller place. I guess that just means we will have to enjoy each others company more! The kids have had a few moments of being a litte upset they have to share a room, but they are excited about other things. Danielle is thrilled that there is a pool in the complex (even though she can't swim until next summer). I know this will be a good move for all. We have to be out of here on the 15th so it will be a very busy upcoming few weeks.
