Sean's Birthday

Today was Sean's 41st birthday. His wish for his birthday was to go play mini-golf, so we headed up to Leavenworth and played a round of 18 holes (that sounds official doesn't it), we were joined by Dean. Of course Sean won :) but you should on your birthday. After golf he picked La Fuente as his birthday dinner/lunch. It was good, but as usual i couldn't finish my food. We had a cake and ice cream party tonight, joined by Sean's family, my parents and his friend Dean. The kids and I got him some nice Wizard of Oz figurines for his present. He actually picked them out himself because we are filling out one of the collections he has. One of the many little knick-knack stores in Leavenworth has some really cute Wizard of Oz stuff.

Free Concert!!!

Saturday night Sean, Levi, Danielle, Aunt Kim and I got to go to a free concert in Ephrata. For those of you that don't know where Ephrata is, it is about an hour southeast of Wenatchee and maybe population 5000. Anyways they have a festival there called the Sounds of Summer. It starts on Friday and concludes with a big band on Saturday. We got there about 5:30 on Saturday and got to listen to 3 bands. It was such a pleasant atmosphere. We had packed our cooler and chairs and just hung out and listened to music. Of course the big band at the end is what we went to watch, but we were pleasantly surprised by the bands that were before them. We got to see Flow Motion and the Patrick Lamb Band. They were really good! We really enjoyed the Patrick Lamb Band, they were a jazz band and so very excited to be there. The kids also got to meet Conner and LaTasha, they are local Wenatchee celebreties! That was exciting for Danielle. You have to look at the pictures to find out who we got to go see last! It was a blast!
Danielle hanging out enjoying the music.
Levi as usual can't get a non goofy picture out of him :)
Just chilling!
Aunt Kim and Levi eating there sandwiches. You can see how close the stage we are by this picture. And check out the crowd. It will triple by the time the last act comes out. It was wild.
Patrick Lamb and his Jazz band.
So for those of you that don't recongnize this singer, it is the lead singer for SmashMouth! We couldn't believe that SmashMouth came to little old Ephrata and played for a free concert! They were awesome! There was so much energy flowing thru that place! Again the only way to explain it is awesome! We all had so much fun. What a great experience for our kids!

July 4th

Hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a very nice dinner with everyone. Can't really call it a barbeque cause we didn't have burgers, we had fried chicken. Lots of good food and family. The kids got to play in the water and slide on the tarp. We also celebrated Bryce's birthday. What a awesome day to have your birthday, you get fireworks to help celebrate your special day. We ended the day lighting our fireworks and then watching the city ones from our deck.

Careful Uncle Noah soon he will be as big as you.

Cute kids!
